Before you write
How to get your Alberta Student Number

Get your Alberta Student Number (ASN) from the Alberta Education Learner Registry at learnerregistry.ae.alberta.ca, or call 780-415-9242.

If you attended school in Alberta, you already have an ASN. Contact Alberta Learning if you need it recovered.

Out-of-province or international students can request an ASN through Alberta Learning.

With your ASN, book your official CAEC exams through Alberta-approved registration channels. You do not have to take a prep course to write the CAEC.
